Can anyone explain why they would take him out in the top of the 7th when he has a 3 hit shutout going and only thrown 66 pitches? I know they took him out for a pinch hitter with 2 outs and someone on third....but what the hell?

I'm a PO owner !!!! Why the heck did they take Hill OUT ??????? Was he hurt ? He was pitching great. 66 pitches ?????? It's not like there was a rain Delay or a big scoring inning inbetween

They pinch-hit for him because there was a guy on third with 2 outs in a 0-0 tie in the top of the seventh.

He pitched a GREAT game, only 66 pitches... so I'm hoping his next outing will be even better because he didn't over extend himself in this one.

Piniella was trying to win the game. Both pitchers were pitching shutout games and showed no signs of letting up and Piniella saw a man in scoring position so he tried to capitalize on it. Precisely why Piniella is making 3 million a year to win MLB games and Brandon Funston is not.

They were trying to win the game possibly. You know what their there to do in the first place. Not cater to some 14 year old fantasy nerd who's mad because he won't get more points this week. Some of you make me sick to my stomach and have actually turned me off form the fantasy baseball world because of such me me ramblings, knee-jerk reactions, and freakouts.


Sometimes most of you make me wonder. Are you really fans of baseball at all? Or have tunnel vision and are overly concerned over a really meaningless lil fantasy team. Seriously get a grip, or better yet learn the game.

Better yet, just sit back and enjoy the game itself.
