I just read on Rotoworld that he is taken today off because both his hamstrings are sore.

David Ortiz is out of the starting lineup for a second straight game Monday against the Indians.

A decision made easier by the face that Wily Mo Pena has two homers in five at-bats against Indians starter Cliff Lee. The Red Sox believe Ortiz's hamstring tightness is a result of dehydration. He might be back tomorrow.

I need him to get back in there & start hittin' bombs again.... he's had a bit of a homer drought, although still very consistent everywhere else when he's in the line-up.

Seriously! Apparently he is still out with tightness in his hamstrings. They think its just dehydration and dont want to rush him back, which is understandable. I just hope they draw the line between caution and overprotectiveness! I traded Delmon and Bailey for him in my keeper league 2 weeks ago and I have no bombs and quite a few games missed so far. He is a stud for sure, I just need him to be one for my team now!

the Red Sox announcer talked about him during tonights game and said he might sit out the series againts the Indians.
