But it's not like Shelton was that bad of a player... he hit 18 homers in about 100 games in 2005...

Hey, I'm merely making note of the fact that Shelton's name was tossed around pretty liberally by people in the 14 HRs in 18 days ARod thread.

I agree with CMBgreatone. AROD. It just shows that anything can happen early in the season. I still dont think ARod finishes with more HR than Howard OR Pujols. If you notice, ARod is on Fire when the Yanks are 10 games back.
Just wait until the Yanks start to pull back into some kind of race. (even if it is the WC)

Is pushing for President Obama to pass a law requiring all citizens to be Chicago White Sox fans and make October 1st "White Sox Day" where we all dress as our favorite player. It maybe socialist, but I don't care.
