we'll see how howell does on Sunday. Traded for him with Chacin before the season started, still no regret over that. Both are pretty average at best and I got a throw in who's hitting .298 in the Carolina league.

They both will be up for good and i think Howell will look better in the first couple starts but Sonnanstine will be better overall.
Howell looked great today, i was there up close and personal. Got in a jam or 2 and got right out of it. His line would have been better except there were a couple of bad plays. He had it going today.

man, he's a headache to watch, throwing 83mph(whatever that is) down the middle isn't a good way to pitch...

it has great movement on it though. It may look like its down the middle but it wasnt. It was moving everywhere.

and his delivery looks max effort env though it's 83 mph. Eitther way, we should Have done better

He did throw over 85, but he doens't usually. He is not a guy that throws hard, he controls his stuff and relies on moving it in and out, and up and down

I think Howell will be at least on par performance wise compare to Slowey, probably better. But that doesn't mean anything, I think Slowey will be a bust.
