Harden Injury: "No Return in Sight ...."

Postby d18Mike » Sun May 27, 2007 12:17 am

ESPN's Buster Onley reports on Baseball Today (5/25) that he spoke with Billy Bean and that there is "no return in sight" for Harden. He used that exact phrase twice.

Not sure how to read into that. Teams mislead re: injuries of course. But Harden himself has an established record of injury optimism and he has been pretty quiet lately.

I'm glad I just barely missed him in most of my drafts, he's been a huge disappointment

Wow. How frustrating--so much talent, just can't stay healthy.

He really needs to become a closer. His stuff is just nasty as hell but his body can only handle about 80 or so innings.

and this is exactly why i drafted haren over harden, guys in my draft thought i was crazy and the pick right after mine was harden.

hardens arm issues made him worth passing on to me, but the guy that chose him thought he got a huge steal
