I went into ESPN to change my rosters once I found out the CHW game was postponed and it said it was locked and I couldn't change it. I wasn't going to drop add anyone just wanted to switch my bench out and it wouldn't let me. Is that typical for a daily league or is it just another example of ESPN sucking this year?

most leagues have rosters locked just prior to the first game being played.
Some 30 minutes, some 1 hour, some right at the beginning of the first game. I suspect it would be determined by your commish.
Mine typically locks the time that that particular players game starts, but I thought in the past if a game were postponed I could still change the players out. I can't add/drop once the first game of the day has started, but moves within my team are OK up until first pitch of that game.

If it was past the scheduled start time for the game, it would lock that game. Yahoo works the same way.
Actually, you can if it gets PPD before the game was scheduled to start and you catch it and change your roster in time. With Yahoo you can change your roster up to 5 min before game time (this is the default setting anyways). So, if a game is postponed, you can change your roster up to 5 min before it was scheduled to start. Once that time pasts though, you are locked in even if the game was postponed hours before. So, it is a very legitimate question.
I am in an espn league, and I once tried to change because it was postponed and it wouldnt let me either...but I tried again in 30 minutes and it was unlocked.
ESPN league is wayyyy better than my yahoo league imo, I just like the setup a lot more.
