8 Team Roto, stuck in Last Place...WHIR!

8 Team Roto, stuck in Last Place...WHIR!

8 Team League, team is currently tied for last place so I would just like some opinions on my lineup's and if anyone sees any real glaring weaknesses to why i'm stuck in last...

C - Brian McCann
1B - Lance Berkman
2B - Aaron Hill
3B - Aramis Ramirez
SS - Jose Reyes
IF - J.J. Hardy
OF - Alex Rios
OF - Carl Crawford
OF - Delmon Young
UTIL - Michael Cuddyer

Bench - Nomar Garciaparra, Dan Johnson, Howie Kendrick

SP - Brandon Webb, Bronson Arroyo, Jered Weaver, Rich Hill, Cole Hamels, Tim Lincecum & Ben Sheets
RP - Chris Ray, David Weathers, Jeremy Accardo, Octavio Dotel & Akinori Otsuka

DL - Jason Schmidt

This league is a Yahoo Roto League with standard Categories...
R - 1.5, HR - 1, RBI - 1, SB - 8, K - 4, E - 4, AVG - 3, W - 5, S - 2, K - 6, ERA - 1, WHIP - 4.5

...if anyone can help me figure out what I need to do to invigorate my team i'd be grateful...and like always WHIR (will help in reply). :)

Honestly, the fact that it is a 8 team league makes it tough to analyze cause everyone has amazing lineups.

^^^ I would agree the fewest I have ever played was ten and I currently am playing one 12 and one 16 team leauge. Tough to judge your situation.

i've seen better teams in 10-team leagues, so this team is clearly not that dominant for an 8-teamer. I think you can do better in the closer department than the sheer quantity of closers you have. i would try to deal some 3-2 or 2-1 deals to get better quality closers and make some roster space. your offense doesnt need much help at the moment, but i would consider packaging a 1B and a closer or SP for a better closer.

Got any opinions on which closer I should try to package? I seem to have 1 guy interested in Chris Ray at the moment..but maybe I should try to move Weathers now before Guardado comes back?

...I also have a guy that was kind of interested in Sheets before he got that minor injury.

I was thinking of running Hill at second base for a little while longer and then putting Kendrick back into that slot after he's been back for a week or so.
