In my league he had it after 1 game so I would say he already has it.

Well, He shouldn't get too much time in the OF with Dukes back in the lineup (assuming that sticks, which i would bet it does) and Delmon and obviously crawford virtual locks as starters.

Outside an injury, I can't see Upton getting OF eligibility any time soon, though he is only two starts away in Yahoo! leagues. Maybe a couple months down the road but it isn't soemthing i would be planning/building around.

To answer your question, yes. If you are using yahoo 10/5 elgibility rule he will gain OF by the all-star break. With that being said, his value is not maximizedin the OF. His value is maximized at 2B. He is the second best second basemen in fantasy. I would have a hard time putting him in the top 15 OF's.

I just got lazy. I am usually pretty good at searching for the info i want and i rarely post in this section. the reason why i was asking is that my OF is my weakest link and if Braun proves to be an offensive threat, I would love to move Upton to outfield (start 3 of Chris Young, Pierre, Pence and Ibanez). I have Upton at 3B.

I enjoy seeing the love for a Devil Ray, but I am pretty sure that 60+ page Upton thread already here could have served this purpose.
