Daisuke possibly hurt

He kind of grimaced coming off the mound after the 2nd inning, with his right hand planted on his hip. He went into the dugout, then back into the tunnel, and the announcers noted his "discomfort". He came out for the 3rd inning and retired the Rangers 1-2-3. He had his velocity. After the 3rd as he walked off, same grimaced look. The announcers just said he appeared to be rubbing his rib cage on the bench while talking to his interpreter. Doesn't sound too major right now but who knows. Will report back.

This is a bad night for me. First Felix, now this.

I was watching the Red Sox broadcast and they said that is appears his stomach is bothering him. So I am guessing that he fine injury wise, he must have caught a bug or ate something bad.

Yeah that makes sense. He seems physically fine, has his velocity and everything. When the pitching coach came out to check on him in the 4th the trainer didn't come and the meeting was brief.

he just needed to go do #2 ... he will be fine by the next start. but i bet anything my dad loved the fact that he got a win, since hes got a bet going on with a guy from his work that Dice K will finish the season with around 15 wins and 7 or less losses.

Yahoo notes is mentioning that the Red Sox have a stomach bug/flu going around under Ortiz's profile...

May 27 Boston Red Sox DH David Ortiz (hamstrings) was not in the starting lineup, Sunday, May 27, against the Texas Rangers, because of soreness in his hamstrings, according to Ken Daley, for Boston.Redsox.MLB.com. Manager Terry Francona said that he was one of the team's latest players to report flu-like symptoms and dehydration. Ortiz received massage therapy before Sunday's game, and was unavailable to reporters.
