What is the thoughts on chances he's called up?

I need to find someone to replace Anth. Reyes since he totally sucks.

That's what I've heard, but not sure if it's a fact that he will start june 2nd. I think some people are still hoping Billingsley gets a rotation spot.

Both Billingsley and Kuo should BOTH get rotation spots. Tomko and Henrickson are crap-ola.

...i agree..what they have done to cbillingsley is criminal..he should be in the rotation..kuo, if he goes 5 innings today, probably will get the ball on sat june 2...billingsley did stretch out a bit w/3 inninings of relief the other night

So Kuo lost tonight...threw 80 pitches (49 for strikes) in 4.2 innings...4 earned runs (5 total runs) on 6 hits...struck out 5 and walked 2.

If I am Grady I give it to Billingsley since he pitched well last time out and has looked great more often than not lately. Kuo still isnt going too deep and looks like he could use more time in AAA to me.
Something tells me they really want Kuo to be in the rotation though since they could let Kuo and Hendrickson pitch it out for the second lefty spot in the rotation until Schmidt returns. If they go with Billingsley and he sticks then they have 4 righties and only 1 lefty when Schmidt returns. I say put your best 5 out there and who cares what they look like but managers tend to think themselves into crap alot so thats what tells me they go with Kuo.

What does everyone think?

I'm not sure what to think, but Nittany, I'm impressed with the way you were able to formulate thoughts like a manager, lol... it's unbelievable how perfectly you stated the way managers over think things too often with squeezing lefties into a rotation and such. I do agree with an earlier post about Kuo and Billingsley should both get looks as starters. In reality, they both have much higher upside then Tomko and Hendrickson, however both really need to EARN those rotation spots. I feel like Billingsley improved control this year in the pen and ability to get hitters out and k a ton of guys should get him a look. It would be nice to see Kuo in the rotation as well though, but he needs to improve his control as well.

Well, there is one good sign that points to them putting Bills in there first. They did start with Tomko over Hendrickson at the beginning of the year. Thats 4 righties in the rotation so maybe they do go with Bills since he is pitching better. I think Kuo also should get a shot but not over Bills right now. Definitely right about both of them having much more upside than Bomko and Hendrickson!
