Will Inman

Now that Braun has been called up, I'd like to bring a couple other names out from the Brewers farm system.

I'm sure most of you have heard of Will Inman, but he's made the transition extremely well to high-A ball. Most importantly, I'm sure we'll see how he fairs in AA pretty soon.

His line in high-A: 1.36 era 77k 15BB in 59.2 IP
Gallardo's in high-A (at the same club-Brevard County)-2.09 era 103 k 23BB 77 IP

Just thought I'd make the comparison.

Also, Jeremy Jeffress has been called up to the Brewers low-A team nowinstead of waiting for the Arizona League.

Gallardo is now 21, Inman 20. They seem to be on the same track

Jeremy Jeffress has had his troubles but his high school numbers were ridiculous, he looks pretty good...

Given how well the Brewers are already doing and the youth of that team (Weeks, Hardy, Fielder etc...) it's just sick to think that Braun is being brought up, Gallardo is on the way and Inman probably for next season... wow!!!

Inman's line tonight:

8ip 3h 3bb 1er 7k

His ERA is down to 1.33. I see a promotion to AA pretty soon. ;-D

I like Inman I just think he'll be limited by his lack of stuff in the MLB. I don't think Inman projects more than a #3 or 4. Jeffress has studly stuff but has had some control problems and still needs to harness his stuff imo. If you could combine the 2 players into 1...wow.
