"So your argument is that if a players name can be altered to make it sound bad then he shouldn't be drafted? In that case I'll also avoid Randy "little" johnson, Albert Poo-Holes, Pedro Fartinez, Magglio Whoredonez, etc.

Here's why he's WitaSUCK. In the 2001 World Series: 1 1/3 innings pitched 8 earned runs, 10 hits, ERA of 54.0!

2002 World Series: 2 games, 1/3 of an inning pitched, ERA of 54.0!

Witasick should have the front line on the job. But I have also heard both Wright's and Villafauerta mentioned too. I have two solid closers in my keeper league so I will be throwing these names out early (fishing for those dollars).

you can spell his name anyway you like. but the bottom line is he sucks. the guy will never get majorleaguers out consistently, WILL NOT HAPPEN! hes terrible. and so, if he is still closer by mid may i will be shocked.

i just found this on fanball.com

The San Diego Union-Tribune reports the Padres have identified Rockies reliever Todd Jones as a possible replacement for injured closer Trevor Hoffman. Jones won the AL Fireman of the Year award in 2000 when he saved 42 games for the Tigers.

Jones may be available, as the Rockies are only using him as a setup man. The fact that the Padres are considering going after a closer in a trade tells us they aren't entirely comfortable with the possible Hoffman replacements they currently have on the roster. We'd certainly attach a higher fantasy value to Jones as the Padres' closer than we would to Jay Witasick.
