I saw it last night and loved it. I read the reviews on rottentomatoes and the majority point of that it was too confusing. While I agree that it did have a lot of different things going at once, as long as you can pay attention it isn't hard to follow.
The ending was a bit disappointing, but that definitely did not ruin the movie.
it did get kinda confusing at times, but keira knightley's hotness makes up for any of that...i enjoyed it, and thought it was definitely better than the 2nd movie
I had seen Pirates last night and thought it was OK. I didn't have high expectation after seeing the 2nd movie, thinking that the sequels could hold a candle to the 1st film, which I definitely enjoyed.
Much like Dead Man's Chest, it was a tad confusing, a little too long for my liking (which ties into the confusion), but all in all, OK. Surely the movie was not worth camping out for, like a few of my friends had, to watch it Thursday night.
I saw it today, and it was a very dark movie especially for disney.
I liked it though it was very difrent, weird, and fun.
The first was the best but this one was very good and a must see for theaters.
i dont see the keira knightley hype at all. shes way too skinny and doesnt have much of a body and her face is above average at best. nothing to drool over imo.

Agreed. Maybe if she ate a hot meal once in a while. Until then, she's a boy with a pretty face.
Well I saw it on Friday and can surmise that most of the critics are just cynical buttholes.
I thought it was entertaining and did a good job of wrapping things up. The only complaint I have is, why did they need to have all those different groups of pirates show up for some grandiose battle that never happens. You could've had the three ships fight by themselves, you didn't need all the others standing by to watch.
