Anyone else seen the third Pirates of the Caribbean?

Saw it last night and I was very disappointed. It was one of the most absurd movies I have ever seen and Kiera Knightly was more annoying than ever. Anyone else seen it and agree?

Just kiddin, Pimp. I think she's pretty hot, too, but agree that she tests my patience sometimes in those Pirates movies. I can't wait to see the new one. ;-D

Yeah I've heard mixed reviews on it. I'm going tonight with tempered expectations, kind of like when I saw X-Men 3.

I thought the 2nd one was OK as a mind-numbing, popcorn-munching action adventure. But it definitely disappointed in comparison to the 1st. I'll wait for DVD for the 3rd.

51% on RT

I won't go see a movie at the theater if it's not over 70, for no other reason than I'm not dropping 10 bucks and two hours on a borefest.

I'll watch just about anything at home though.

Some buzz:

"Producer Jerry Bruckheimer does deserve a shoutout: It takes a kind of genius to sucker audiences into repeatedly buying the same party tricks."

"It won't matter whether you've seen the first two Pirates movies or not. You'll still be confused."

"One longs for more scenes featuring Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End and less of everything else in this bloated, overwrought and convoluted three-hour misfire."

That last one seals the deal for me... three hours? Yikes.
