How exactly does the yahoo waiver priority work if you have 2 outstanding claims that process on different days? My number 1 priority is for Braun, who clears on 5/28. My number 2 is Gallardo, but he clears a day earlier.
If I get Gallardo, will I drop to the bottom of the waiver list, or will yahoo "wait" for Braun to clear since he's my first priority?
Are you dropping the same player for both players? I don't think that matters but I'm assuming that Yahoo will take care of whoever clears waiver first. In your case, if you claim Gallardo, then you will drop down to the last pick. If not, then you move up in your pick when Gallardo gets claimed. I think...

Nope, I've got it set up to drop different players for each guy.
Even though Braun is set as YOUR higher priority, when Gallardo clears if you're the highest league wavier priority picking him up you will. Then your league waiver priority will go to the end of the line to pick up Braun.

Because of the one-day difference in waiver clearing between the two, this makes for an awfully tough situation if you'd rather have Braun than Gallardo and have a waiver priority #2 or worse. If you gamble on Gallardo and win, you're almost sure to lose Braun. But then, if you pass on Gallardo to keep your priority and take a chance on Braun, you risk losing them both.
I cancelled my request for Gallardo...Braun's been called up, so he can contribute immediately. I'm in an NL-only, so it's not unthinkable that he'd go right into my line-up in my Util spot. Gallardo's still too much of a wish to pass on Braun.
If I were in a more shallow league though, I'd probably choose Gallardo. He has a better chance, if he comes up, of being a legitimate, big contributer to a mixed-league team.
