what's the deal w/ this kid and Gallarado? I've seen a lot of hype about these two guys, but know very little. I've hit some of the threads around here to get some insight, but I'm still trying to figure out if they are worth adding.

Who would you compare those two players too? I have Lincecum, is Gallarado similar? I allready have 3 brewers (Weeks, Hardy, Sheets) so I don't want to load up if they're just so-so.

Gallardo led the minor leagues in K's last year, and is on pace to do it again this year - until he gets called up. If he breaks the Crew's rotation he will be very good. He's just a notch below Lincecum, but still an uber prospect.

Braun will take over full time at 3B. He has been scorching hot since spring training. In fact I believe he led or was tied for the lead in spring training HR's. And that was in Major League camp. Plus Braun has real speed, and has the potential for some steals, but I'm sure that's a part of his game that won't be fully developed until a few years down the road. The only thing that kept him out of a job so far this year was his defense, more specifically his wild arm. He is very legit and should be a strong fantasy 3B from here on out in any format.

IMO gallardo > lincecum

FYI fellow baseball addicts...I've seen a lot of "hes available in Yahoo!!! i just picked him up and i am boosted! "...there are TWO Ryan Braun's...one's available and is a RP for KC (I think)...and then there is the REAL Ryan Braun who is currently on waivers in Yahoo until May 28th...
