I was actually watching the game. There was a flyball hit in his direction and he just jogged over to it and let it fall right next to him. He stayed in and charged a ball and made a great throw to home to rob Pence of an rbi on the very next play. My guess is that the injury wasn't fully healed and he gave himself away on that play.
The announcers commented that he appeared to be moving very "gingerly". I can see DL in his future. The D'Backs probably shouldn't have put him there to begin with, now, they may have no choice. BTW, that's just my opinion, as nothing has been said yet.

I wish they WOULD put him on the DL and just let the thing heal. And make the dude take some yoga classes or something. If he comes back and has any soreness at all, he won't be stealing any bases, and that's no good for me.
In a league of 12 teams or less, I'm thinking he isn't worth holding onto anymore. As was mentioned, he won't be good for steals for a while, and it looks like Arizona doesn't know how to handle its injured players either. He will probably continue to reaggravate the injury...
