Those were the "Realistic Choices" given to you ..
I'm sure that you are referring to jive's statement but I repeat that too much credit goes to the president when things go well and too much blame when it doesn't. Do you really think that this war would be much different with Gore in office? A little at most. You make it sound like the president makes all of the decisions by themself. Do you really think that Bush looked at a map, with help of course, and said, "Bomb them"?
No one knew at the election that this would happen. I still find it a little funny that more people wanted Gore than Bush at the last election. It's amazing how the guy with the most votes lost. Oh well, another discussion, I guess. I'm not saying that he is or isn't doing a bad job. I just think that basing whether someone is worth the breath by what is on a bumper sticker is very short-sighted.
[quote=Free the Prisoners - No chance of that under Bush! Oppose Bush? You must be a "terrorist" or "enemy combatant!" Go straight to jail, no trial, do not collect $200! God bless America!
Lock up the guns - Only a matter of time...
Kill the Babies - How many babies have the Bush Reich killed in Iraq?
and let Big Govenment fix your problems - Government is bigger than ever under Bush. Yes please Homeland Security, please protect us from the big bad terrorists under our beds. You kids better eat your vegetables or else Osama Bin Laden will get you![/quote]
I used to be a Democrat, but the party makes me sick now.
If the libs had their way, Saddam would be housed at the Ritz.
Children die in war. How many babies died under Truman in 45 when we bombed Japan? Or LBJ in the 60's in Vietnam?
Nobody raised a fuss when Clinton bombed Kosovo. Saddam killed thousands more then our forces have innocently killed.
Those good old dems are blaming Bush for 911.
So when he tries to clamp down on security, every nut from the ACLU crawls out from under a rock.
I didn't vote for Bush, but i certaintly applaud a strong president. It's hard to support a party that believes in freeing prisoners, not killing them, then turn around and kill innocent babies.

it was her bumper sticker "AND" her actions .... Its a mentality I guess. I'll call it the "I gave at the office" mentality.
"I would love this country to be safer, as long as it doenst inconvience me. Oh and comp my Big Mac NOW" .. "I gave at the office"
Erb - c'mon up to Canada. We'll kick back, drink some good beer, eat some poutine and watch the Daily Show with Jon Stewart. It'll be a blast. If you're feelin' feisty - we got pinball!
