I don't like Pandora because the volume rates fluctuate way too much for me to adequately listen to it at work. One song it's too quiet, the next is much louder and I have to constantly adjust my volume.

I usually listen to woxy.com.

They did a similar thing to a similar station here in Minnesota. It wasn't my favorite station but it was the only place to hear alternative music and some new stuff. They changed it to 70's love songs. Problem is that in most major markets all the main genres are covered and any other station struggles to tread water. It sucks, but Sirius and XM are great options if you want to take that route.

I listened to them religiously when I lived in Alton. I even knew some of the kids going to school in the radio program there at LCCC. But I moved to southern St. Charles, and they don't broadcast strong enough for me to get them anymore.

I miss "College Radio's Best."
