so far the best japan has to offer has been pretty good. no reason to believe that aki wont follow the same path. great batters eye and speed equals high on base percentage and production

How do you guys think this will affect Carlos Pena's playing time?

Is he worth hanging onto in fairly deeper leagues?

Tough call... streaky guy coming off an injury on a bad lineup? Or an unproven guy hitting late in a good lineup?

Any particular need on your team that would call for one more than the other (speed vs. power, etc)?

I need as much power as I can get my hands on. I've got speed coming out the ying yang but can't seem to deal any of it.

depends on the Dukes situation. If Upton is playin CF than Wiggy goes to 2B and it doesnt effect it at all. If Dukes is in center than Upton is at 2B and wiggy either DH's or plays 1B. I think Pena has earned the right to play and will stay play as much as he does now

Haha where my good friend did you get that he's streaky? Did you just pull that out of your ass?

And it doesn't make sense to discount Iwamura's power seeing as he hit 44, 30, and 32 HR's the past 3 years in Japan. Just to give you more perspective, he stole 8, 6, and 8 bases. So let's not just pigeon-hole players into categories without knowing the whole picture, okay?
