Yahoo Fantasy Baseball Auction Draft League

Hello All,

I am starting a fantasy baseball auction draft league, which
would be held on AOL Instant Messenger (AIM).(FYI, if you don't
know what AIM is, here's the link: http://www.aim.com) It would have to
be held on a chat software since there is no way to do it on
Yahoo! (even when they do start the signups). I would like to
have it on either 1/23*, 1/24*, 1/30 or 1/31 at night.

I expect that most of you know what an auction draft is, but here's
a general definition. An auction draft is just the same thing as an
auction in real life. What I would do is go down the list of players
and then people would bid on the players, with a certain salary
cap. The salary cap would be $260, and you would have to pick
22 players within that salary cap. The dollar rankings that you
find on many sites correlate with an auction league.
$260 can buy you a pretty good team, it just matters how you
spend your money-- i.e. you don't want to spend $60 on A-Rod,
since that's 25% of your spending money and you need 21 other
players.

I expect that the better players will go for around $30-40, while
the average players will go for around $10-20 and the backups
$1-10...

This draft will take at least 2 or maybe even 3 hours, so you must
be very patient and have the time available. AIM drafts aren't too
easy, so you'll also have to cope with me..

This league will be a Yahoo Fantasy Baseball league, and it will
be Roto, 5*5 (BA, HR, RBI, SB, R for Batters; W, ERA, WHIP, SO,
SVs for Pitchers).

Lastly, I would like this to be a money league. It would cost $20
to sign up, and the payout is as follows:
Winner-$100
2nd-$50
3rd-$30
1st place at the ASB (All Star Break)-$60

With that said, is anyone interested? I'm looking for 10-12
experienced, well-natured owners who will take the time to check
their team every couple of days..
