Myers hurt.... but for how long?

STATS: Myers left Wednesday's game against Florida in the ninth inning with a strained right shoulder, and the team said he may return home Thursday for further examination.

Advice: Myers sat in the clubhouse after the game with ice on his shoulder and said he hoped to be sidelined only a couple of days. It's uncertain who would fill the closer's role for the Phillies if Myers has to miss any time. Tom Gordon remains on the disabled list with a rotator cuff strain.

there isn't much clarity on it yet. i heard from people who were watching the game that it looked pretty bad, but maybe he got lucky and will only miss a few games. if he's sidelined for a while, and gordon comes back healthy, he gets the role back - if both are shelved, it will probably go to madson, and then geary after that...

the phils have no other half decent RP left, so really i dont think it matters who fills in...we need him healthy
