I like that
Of course, a red alert in Italy translates into an Italian soccer player diving or feigning injury.
That reminds me of yesterday's Liverpool/AC Milan final when Milan's Filippo Inzaghi was incidentally kicked in the chest or torso with the ball...stood there for 3 seconds, then fell to the ground, rolling around as if he were in pain, trying to induce a red card out of the referee. Good grief. At any rate, I'm glad to see Liverpool lose, as always.
As for that little joke, nice.
I can't believe you wrote what you did while having the captain of the Portuguese diving team in your sig.

Chalk up another cup for an Italian side.
At least Ronaldo doesn't fake injuries looking for a Verdi tune as soundtrack. I do admit there were a couple of times where Ronaldo tries to dupe the ref for a penalty kick (case in point: Middlesbrough), but English commentators like to give him a bad rap for it when it's pretty much overstated.
Plus, as a United fan, I'm a fan of Ronaldo as well. I do give props to Milan though. Pundits were critical of them being too old and too tactical to make a run at the CL again. You have to admit that Kaka and Gattuso carried Milan on their backs to win the Cup though. As always, glad to see Liverpool lose, even though they deserved to win the game with the chances they created.
