I would assume a day off. He's been so terrible, a day off couldn't hurt.

Most likely a day off since he hasn't been hitting well lately.

Seems like a rest day. Astros play Thurs, so there was no break there. And Zito was on the hill. Berkman's never faced Zito, but he generally hits better from the left side ... even when he's not slumping like this.

Whether Berkman starts or not will likely depend on who is pitching for the Arizona Diamondbacks. If a left-handed pitcher is starting, Berkman would likely sit as he is hitting just .250 against them this season.
