Just left the game against the Marlins in the 9th with an apparent arm injury. Not good.
He immediately grabbed his shoulder, and walked off of the mound with the trainer.

Please!!! Who closes for Phillies?? Gordon still on DL. Madson? AA? I need a closer. I got Hudson and Soria and I'm in second place. :-o

I think Condrey will get a chance. He was doing very well in the beginning of the season, k/9 was ridiculous. He's now back from his injury, he might get the nod. pick him up.

alfonseca looks to be the next in line, but he is not throwing well. maybe madson?

I do not know for sure though.

i saw the incident. i speculate that a DL trip is coming based on the way he didn't even wait till the trainers looked at him, he just started walking off the field. i also speculate that alfonseca would get the save ops while myers is out.

condrey will NOT take over the job. zero chance

at this point id say madson, but remember tom gordon is close to returning as well. madson is a SP/RP too.
