I especially like this part...

Like the Red Sox chasing Clement, the Yankees pursued Japan’s Kei Igawa, whom they scooped up for a tidy $46 million. Igawa, after stumbling to a 7.63 earned run average with the Yankees this year, is at the team’s minor league complex in Tampa, Fla., where he is learning a new way to throw the ball to home plate. In effect, the Yankees have spent $46 million for someone whom they are now reteaching the basics of his position, as if he were a raw prospect in high school.

I enjoyed it. I wouldn't call it "hilarious", but it was a good read. Certainly no reason to be a jerk about it.

Interesting? Whats interesting about it? The yankees signed pavano the sox signed clement.

The Sox signed Matsuzaka the yankees signed Kei Igawa. Wow thats 2 examples of the Sox/Yanks trying to out due each other and it really isn't even a strong example.

And worse the poster of the thread starts bashing the yankees in no relation to this article what so ever. Which is more why this thread is worthless.
