Ranking SPs

Postby Zhangman1 » Wed May 23, 2007 4:45 pm

Is there a thread of how people generally rank SPs? Like a Tier system?

I figure Tier 1: Santana, Peavy, Oswalt

Tier 2: Hamels, ?Halladay?, Cain, CC, Webb, Hill, Lackey, King Felix, Smoltz, Haren

This is just off the top of my head, but where do guys like Jared Weaver, Bonderman, Dick-K, Zambrano, Kazmir, Hudson, Maine, Lilly, etc all go? Plus injuries like Harden or Rooks like Hughes/Lincecum

Why would Oswalt and his rapidly declining K/9 be in Tier 1? I'd put him at the same level as Halladay right now in his career.
