Yovanni Gallardo?

I'd like to hear from some Brewers fans who live in or around Milwaukee who might have a good guess as to when Gallardo actually gets the call, as it seems to be getting to decision time for a lot of us in our leagues. Will it take an injury, or would they work him into the rotation. Is there any interesting talk about it on the sports stations out there?

Doug Melvin was talking just the other day like they weren't gonna bring up Braun, and he ended up getting the call shortly thereafter.

I get the argument that the Brewers' rotation is all filled up, but seriously with Gallardo pitching so lights-out right now, I'd think they might make room for him a la the Lincecum/Russ Ortiz situation. Not that anyone in the Brewers' rotation is performing as poorly as Ortiz was, but are Vargas or Suppan really that irreplaceable?

they just signed suppan to a multi year deal. he is not going to be moved out of the rotation. best bet is a vargas injury or blowup. sheets actually looks pretty healthy this year. if bush keeps getting blasted they might bring him up. i also think they might make a move if the brew crew goes on a losing streak and they need a little jolt.

i just picked up Braun ... i was hoping no one sees gallardo on the waivers and picks him up but of course that didn't happen.

Im not 100% giving up on Capuano like some are so Id look for maybe another option but hes been blah the last few

Well, Gallardo's pitching (in AAA) tonight. If he goes more than 2 innings you can count on Villanueva filling in for Sheets if he misses a start.

Well, I finally pulled the trigger and picked up this kid. I guess he will sit and wait just like Lincecum did when I picked him up. Hopefully he gets the call sooner than later.
