Edwin Encarnation called back up, any thoughts? sleeper?

Postby Mr. Smithers » Tue May 22, 2007 3:47 pm

He was decent last year, and he is still young. Lot of people were high on him last year. He was hitting well at AAA, and from what I read he seems real motivated.

Anyone think we got a sleeper here?

Twins should trade a starting pitching prospect for him...

This makes me mad.
I just read an interview with the GM, and he was talking about Encarncion being down there for another month.

I was always pretty high on the kid. He was just in a bad slump and too bad cuz Cincy probably could have used his production.

The big question is, when Hamilton comes back, who gets cut?

If he is still in Narron's doghouse, then it really doesn't matter if he is back up or not.

I need him to be good, my only third base options are Figgins and Lugo, and somehow I am still in first. I just picked up EE this morning hope he lights it up.

Oddly enough, I just picked him up to take over my utility spot in place of Josh Hamilton while I put the latter on the DL.

In my case he was the best available player compared to the others on waivers so I'm taking a flyer on him.
