They sharpen your focus.
And if any PED's had anything to do with hitting homeruns, how do you explain that more pitchers have been busted for there use than position players.
thats the hypocrisy ..
Wow, next thing you know MLB is going to make it against the rules to have illegal weapons or crank or something else that is illegal in this country anyway
or ban beer for the players at a ballpark named after ... beer.

Not to me. I won't argue about whether they help players hit HR. I will just and agree to disagree. I do find it funny that the players say that it doesn't help them yet they risk potential death/health problems by taking them, though. They definitely help recovery time, though. Of course, I am talking about PED's.
as an angels fan, i wish the angels would stop going after these risky power bats (gary mathews jr - one good year, garret atkins rumors - one good season in coors no less, giambi - old with unnecessary baggage) that reek of desperation, and instead get a legit power bat even if it means losing young prospects (andruw jones or something). i mean, anaheim is in southern california. it's not like we're in the boonies somewhere or something. it shouldn't be this difficult to get someone to want to come play for us and protect vlad and compete for a championship year in and year out. ridiculous.
