Pre-breast reduction of course.

I just traded him for the slumping Abreu. Here's hoping it doesn't get vetoed ;-D

awesome steal. JD's not 1/2 the player Abreu is. Abreu will come around while JD will, well, he'll continue doing what he does best. !+)

From Rotoworld:
Given the choice of playing Wednesday, J.D. Drew opted out of the lineup against left-hander Andy Pettitte.

Drew is 6-for-14 with two homers against Pettitte during his career, but took himself out of the lineup in favor of Wily Mo Pena. Manager Terry Francona called it a "mental health day."

This is typical JD Drew.

I live in STL, and I can remember being SO excited over this guy when he came up late in '98. Looking at his career #'s makes my just shake my head at what could/should have been :~(

Unbelievable. I just can't fathom how a major league baseball player, especially one with as much natural talent as Drew, would take a day off because he just didn't feel like playing. I really hope that my trade for Abreu goes through, because I don't want Drew on my team anymore. It's bad karma.
