whats the deal with him? is he for real/will he keep this up? i dont remember hearing anything about him being a top prospect or anything, but he seems to be (so far) a decent source of runs and steals.

i dont know if he will keep the leadoff spot since they have chone, but then again chone was demoted to 9th in the order late last season.

You're definitely right by saying he wasn't mentioned as a top prospect. But you know there are those guys that when given a chance just really start to excel. Even if he continues at a lesser pace, I'd be really surprised to not see keep the leadoff spot. Matthews in the middle of the order serves the power starved angels better.
