Good news for Halladay Owners!

Postby powenM » Mon May 21, 2007 5:18 pm

The Toronto Sun is reporting he threw 40 pitches & is WAAAAAAAY ahead of schedule.

His expected return date is now May 31.

This is incredible for an appendectomy!
Just traded BButler, BWood & JLoney for Mark Teixeira, Ryan Theriot & Renyel Pinto in a DYNASTY LEAGUE. Big gamble I know!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say he's a Sox fan. :-b

I know powen is a leafs fan for a fact, that's why I assumed he was a Jays fan as well. Don't know why he has the sox avatar up. Hopefully from a bet or something.. :-o :-o

If youre a smart Halladay owner you will sell him high after his first good start back. He cannot stay healthy and his K #'s are down.

Halladay isnt the same guy who won the CY Young a few years back.

What is it with this crap that he can't stay healthy? He got hurt 2 years ago because of a freak accident where a line drive hit his shin (or ankle?). This year he's out because of appendicitis. People could argue that he's a BETTER pitcher then he used to be. He's smarter now.....he goes deeper into game by becoming more economical with his pitches. If you want to argue that he's less valuable in fantasy baseball because he doesn't get k's as much, that's fine...but anything else is flat out wrong.

BTW, I am not a Halladay owner. Just a fan.

Yea, this is just wrong. He's every bit the same pitcher, if not better.
