Im in a 12 team keeper league, and I had the 6th pick. It is a 5 by 5 roto league. Here is who I have so far.
1.Beltran
2.P Wilson
3.S Rolen
4.M Mussina
5.J Beckett
6.Jose Vidro
Would you please rate my team from 1-10 and tell me what other players i need to try to get in the next couple rounds. I would really appreciate it, thanks.
Im not real high on Wilson in the 2nd round. I dont believe he will repeat his numbers from last year. Other than that your team looks fairly solid. Grab some more power and a closer.

With Beltran, Rolen, and Wilson, I wouldn't say you have sub-par power. That being said, you did reach a bit for Wilson, but you stole Beckett in the fifth. Don't worry about starters for a few more picks. If there is a decent starting SS left, grab him now. Cabrerra or Fucal ideally, but they are probably gone. Don't reach if the SS pool is dry. Maybe grab a closer or fill out your outfield. If Huff or Sean Green (who should rebound this year) are available, grab one of them.
cabrerra furcal are left. smoltz is still left, but huff and green are gone. who should i go with first in my next two picks, smoltz if available or a ss, and which ss is better?
Pretty much a toss-up between Furcal and Cabrerra stats wise. I like Furcal personally, because I usually try to go with the better team if two players are identical. Furcal has Giles, and the Jones boys behind him, so pitchers have to give him something to hit. If one is left though, definitely grab them, they won't be there for long and the dropoff is pretty steep after them. You can wait longer for a closer in my opinion and 1b is always pretty deep. Maybe try to snag Derrek Lee after a SS if he is available, then grab a closer.
After a SS, grab Smoltz then. People are scared of him because health concerns last year. But he is supposed to be 100% now. Of course, he might not still be there. Maybe Isringhausen.
