Your team looks great to me. Like you said, some key guys are getting off to slow starts. But I think at the very least that you have a lot of guys in your hitting lineup that are bona-fide guys who aren't "Sheltoning" at the moment ( I think B.J. Upton and possiblty J.J. Hardy and these type of guys are going to fall off the map a little bit). If you're in first place with guys like Abreu, Soriano, etc.,. you're going to be in terrific shape once they get going. They don't even need to meed their expectations as long as you have balance across your lineup.

I'd look to deal Abreau. I'm sorry - I'm not a fan. He's a one cat guy - hits (singles) with the occasional double - maybe two cats with BB. He hurts you with Ks too. Plus he looks like he is sleep walking out there. I saw him a couple of times against the White Sox when the Yankees were in town last week.

Here's why I'd target Hafner:

He's struggling. But he has more upside than Abreau IMO.

He will soon have 1B eligibility - end of June. If Delgado doesn't start producing you could use him there.

In the Util spot, he will completely out produce "The Riot."

Consider offering the Hafner owner who may be a little flummoxed with his start Abreau with one of you lower tier pitchers as a teaser.

That would be a major insult if u offered that.

If u r in 1st place with that slow starting lineup Id be patient. its only going to get better. I think u need to upgrade your SPs though. U dont need hafner at all - your batters r awesome!

Help me please:

Just traded BButler, BWood & JLoney for Mark Teixeira, Ryan Theriot & Renyel Pinto in a DYNASTY LEAGUE. Big gamble I know!

I agree with the poster above. If you're in first place despite the slow starts you'll be best served to hang on for a bit. Abreu, however (mentioned by others) would definitely be on the block. I don't see him coming back, and even if he does his power hasn't been there for quite a while. See if you can get an owner who still has clear memories of the Home Run derby in Comerica to send you something of worth.

Any help here?

I would fish around and see what you could get for Abreu, though his value will be low right now. Thanks for the help on mine!
