Huston Street, Whats the Latest?

Postby Strained Oblique » Mon May 21, 2007 1:00 pm

Anyone have the latest? Last I heard he was going to be checked out and diagnosed last Wednesday. Any word?

My DL List is unreal. Carpenter, Harden, Bonderman, Beckett, and Street. Only 2 DL spots can be used and I am using Carpenter and Harden for them at this point. :-t

That sucks but you did draft 3 injury threats. Harden (who I have), Beckett, and Street (he went on the DL last year). But I thought I heard that he would be on for the minumum 15 days.

Huston Street, who is eligible to return a week from today, still hasn't thrown since going on the disabled list with an irritated right ulnar nerve.

That figures to change this week. It Street is pain free when he resumes throwing, he'll be back quickly. If not, surgery could become a possibility.

Way to tweak the yahoo post and plagiarize it as your own. Yahoo didn't mention anything about the "S" word yet. It simply stated he hasn't resumed throwing activities yet, since being placed on the DL.

Maybe I missed that second part, but it seems a bit presumptious. I just don't know why we haven't heard about what Dr. Yocum said in their visit. I'm getting really t-o'd about yahoo and their lack of reporting on this. Saves are at stake, man!

Huston Street, P, Oakland Athletics Friday 5/18, 10:20 AM CT

Huston Street's return date is still up in the air - it ranges from 10 days to indefinite. If rest doesn't solve his irritated ulnar nerve, surgery is a possibility, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

At this point, TJ surgery isn't out the question, but we need to just cross our fingers and hope rest will heal this injury.

amen.

The whole "no news is good news" saying isn't very comforting to me at this point.
