Anyone know the scoop on this guy? He was called up to replace Blalock in texas and has 2 HR in 3 games. Is it like he will see the majority of playing time or do they plan to platoon him at 3b?

Well he will get the playing time until he cools off. Kata's bat has been weak and Vazquez has been crushing the ball. So until those trends reverse Vazquez will be the regular.

that sum's it up.... he was called up to be an emergency fill in when blalock went down, they also called up rookie travis metcalf who is known for defense and not so much his bat.
Vazquez's performance was a bonus, he was expected to be waived shortly after his callup, but right now it looks like he will stick until he cools down.... i don't expect him to keep this up for long though
