He has only 8 XBH this year... He's either changing his hitting style or he is just hurt. Either way, I still think he'll hit 20 HRs with .300 AVG at the end.

I'm thinking of shopping him ... maybe give this guy Tejada and Oswalt for his Jeter and Smoltz ... would I be crazy to do that?

he said "a lock" to hit .300.
out of that list, only jeter and tejada are a lock i think. young, furcal, reyes anywhere in the .290-.320 range.

I'd call Guillen a "lock" to hit .300 to.
He's hit way over .300 from 2004-2006 and is hitting .320 again this year. Plus is he stays healthy he'll be 15/15 with good runs and rbi for a SS.
Just so many SS with value this year, Tejada is still definitely top-10 but not top-5 any more.

hmm, yeah i didn't notice his avg the past 3 years. i guess it's because i always ignore him for being an injury risk.

3 R HR. Hopefully moving him to cleanup will make him convert back to his old swing and hit for more power

I started this thread and have had Tejada on the bench for a week....until today. Because it's Thursday, he's at SS for me. Great timing with the 3 run HR, Miggy!
