Hafner-When or If

Im in a yahoo league that has no DH spot,

so, if or when Travis Hafner becomes 1st base eligible does he become a fee agent or does he have to clear waivers?

anybody know.....

He'll go through waivers...just like the beginning of the season or if a rookie/player who wasn't in the DB is called up or added to the team.
