How about career complete games. I know Fergie had a ton of 'um and pitchers are like most things... they don't make 'em like they used to. Major league pitchers are fragile. They don't pitch past the 7th inning too often these days.

You're right, Jenkins had a huge number of complete games: 267, in fact. That's only good for rank 63 on the all-time list, though (which is an amazing feat for a pitcher in his era) - back in the really old days, complete games were the norm. To be in the top ten, you have to compete with the likes of Tony Mullane, who had 468 cg's in 504 starts from 1881 to 1894 (info from mlb.com - I love how it says "updated through Sunday" above these old-timers' stats...).

This category is one where you won't find any old-timers. Fergie leads Cy Young (the career complete games leader) by 346...
