I can't believe the Dodgers called him up to sit on the bench!! Originally, the reports were that he was taking over the 3rd base job. Then, Betemit gets a couple of pinch-hit homers and now he gets the majority of the time there. It seems to me that you would want your top hitting prospect getting steady at-bats!! LaRoche has shown excellent plate discipline while he is in there. Are they just showcasing Betemit for a trade or what??
