That movie was extremely well done. There was some Mantle/Maris tension, and he really was put under so much stress he started to lose his hair.

One of my favorite sports movies ;-D

I can't say I've seen it but they had the top 50 baseball moments during a rain delay a few weeks ago and included that and Maris really didn't look too thrilled after he popped #61...I will have to try to track the movie down.

I thought it was a good movie and it seems to be pretty accurate. I think Jane and Pepper did a great job of re-creating the type of relationship that Mantle and Maris were perceived to have.

This is one of my all time favorite baseball movies. I loved it. From what I've read it was pretty accurate too. I know Billy Crystal talked to the family's of both Maris and Mantle so that he could try to get as much insight as possible.
