Mark Reynolds.
I posted in the Blaylock thread about this AA callup. With Chad Tracy on the DL, Arizona gave this kid a call. The knock on him was his D. The guy has dazzeled in the hot corner. Aside from just being a body, he is scorching the ball. 4 games played at third leaving hin one shy for CBS eligibility. Listed as a shortstop as well! Did I mention 6/12-5 RBI and hit his first longball today, off Gorzalanny. Don't wait if you need an infielder addition to your roster.

you think the kid'll stick after Tracy gets back, or are you touting this as a short-term fix?

Short term or not? I view it this way, Callapso was reinstated to the active roster today. The D-Backs are banged up right now. Guess the answer lies in his productivity over the next week and a half, but should he continue his solid play it wouldn't surprise me to see him stay. Tracy has been a first baseman in the past.

I'm in...

Would you rate him higher in speed or power?

Thanks for the tip. I just grabbed him in my league where we have daily line-up changes and put him in for tomorrow to replace Hamilton's spot. Looks like he faces Maholm, who's been getting rocked this year, so hopefully Reynolds can keep it going.

Also, my main 3B is Melvin Mora and the woeful Chone Figgins is my back-up at 3B... so if Reynolds stays in, that would be even better, as it's a keeper.

He's hit in the minors for a while. He just was a guy without a position. A utility guy who deserved to be in the lineup every day even if it was at different spots on the field.
Don't tase me, bro.
