Damon Minor

Does anybody know some stuff about this guy? Like why the Giants are still insisting on starting that hack J.T. Snow at first instead of giving this kid a chance?

Minor got a chance to win the starting 1B job during the middle of last season and just didn't do enough offensively to offset Snow's defensive presence. Then Snow played his ass off in the playoffs so I'm not sure Minor will get many at-bats outside of a pinch-hitting role this year.

But Snow's contract is up after this season and I don't see the Giants resigning him in their effort to lure Vlad to the Bay. So, if you're in a keeper league then you might want to take a late flyer on Minor, but I wouldn't expect much this year.
