I'm particularly Happy with Youkilis this year as i picked him up to fill in for a lacking Zimmerman and he hasn't let up over this streak. i actually owned him last year for a bit and remember him killing it pretty good. Keep it up BABY

I rthink the multi-hit games streak belongs to Rogers Hornsby at 13

Youkilis has a 21 game hitting streak (including 9 in a row and 16 of 19 with at least 2 hits) and has hit safely in 30 of 31 games.
In his last 31 games:
.409/.530/.674 for a 1.205 OPS
21 XBH (7 HR)
13/16 K/BB
29 runs and 25 rbi

traded Joakim Soria for him 2 weeks ago
It has been fun to follow him, plus in a great lineup so it could continue

Jim Rice was the last Red Sox to have 9 multi=hit games in a row in 1971. The last time a team came back to win a pennant after being behind 14 1/2 games was 1912.

That was actually 1978. Which ironically was the year the Red Sox blew a huge June lead to the Yankees.

sorry to put u guys down, but one owner in my league sold high on AROD during his sizzling streak in April and as soon as the trade went through, AROD has been as cold as ice. Now he did the same thing with Youkilis, so enjoy his hot streak for a couple more days. To be precise, his streak will end on June 2.

it doesn't matter if it ends or not, but some of us that play in a 14 league teams are pretty happy with this guy hitting this year streak or no streak
