Beltran..Reason for concern..??

Postby kemper5 » Fri May 18, 2007 10:31 pm

He has not been hitting much at all. Looks like he's 10 for his last 50 and has 3 RBI's in that span. Had a awesome April, then the Quad injury thing started coming out in May and now has not hit much and his average has dropped 57 points since May 1st. Is he playing through a injury?

I believe that he is injured, although others on here would disagree. He is not running well, only reason he stole the other night was because it was a surprise double steal. He isn't moving well, nothing has been revealed yet.

reason for concern? yes, as written you post gives reason for minor concern, but not panic.

Kemper, do you ever post anything besides "cause for concern" threads? You need to relax a little, man. Players don't go 1/3 with .75R, .75RBI, .25HR, and .2SB every game. There are peaks and valleys in every season. Enjoy the peaks, and ride out the valleys. Don't do anything crazy, like getting rid of Pujols...oops...
