No, you're missing the point.

The purpose of the 2 day period before trades get processed is for owners NOT INVOLVED IN THE TRADE to determine if they have any objections and wish to veto the trade. The time for you (as a party to the trade) to make that decision is from the time it is offered until the time that you hit either the accept or reject button... not afterwards when it's already been put to the OTHER owners in the league to decide whether or not to allow it to go through.
