I'm a dang bleeding heart. Sad as it sounds I would probably keep the mouse in a cage and try to nurse it back to health. Pathetic... I know.

I used to have hamsters as a kid and I think mice are cute.

Just get one of the new electric traps. They work like a charm. It's a box live trap that passes a lethal amount of electricity through the mouse. Both humane and incredibly effective.

Now, if you can't afford several electric traps, go get the bug zapper out of your backyard, sit it on the ground, plug it in and spray a bottle of cheese whiz inside. Then, sit back and watch.
