Weeks will miss the next few games with a wrist injury, according to the Milwaukee radio broadcast.
Spin: There was no indication if it was the same wrist that caused Weeks to miss the end of last season and have surgery in the offseason. We'll update his status as soon as we get it.

Damn..wonder exactly how many he will miss.

The way he was playing, I had benched him anyway. Ray Durham occupies my 2B spot and is producing better than Weeks.

Game notes from Yahoo:

SAN FRANCISCO SECOND BASEMAN RAY DURHAM LEFT THE GAME IN THE BOTTOM OF THE FIFTH INNING WITH AN UNDISCLOSED INJURY.

Houston, we have a problem... ah, I mean, San Francisco...

This guy is like a flower. Next chance I get, I'm trading his ass off my keeper team.

I just picked up Aaron Hill to replace him while he's hurt.

Odds are it is the same wrist injury

From Rotowire:

Manager Ned Yost said that Weeks' surgically repaired wrist was a little sore and may be part of the reason that he's struggling at the plate, according to the team web site.
Spin: There were radio reports on Thursday that the Brewers were going to give Weeks a few days off to rest his wrist, but Yost didn't give any indication that was going to happen. In any case, his wrist soreness isn't likely to go away anytime soon and his struggles at the plate will likely continue if it doesn't.

Is it time to just give up on this guy forever? These updates make it sound like he should just retire from baseball.

Milwaukee radio just said that Weeks isn't starting again tonight...

I wouldn't drop him, but might be time to get a short-term replacement.
