I think the price is like 4 payments of 35 bucks. Not bad considering you can get up to 35 games a week on that system. I had it 2 years ago, loved it and I only had to give it up because I had to move, cross-country. It's definately worth the money. By the way, the freeview usually happens during the season's first week.

for a diehard baseball fan and fantasy player, it's well worth the money. Do keep your schedule in mind, if you can't see more than ESPN/local broadcast show, then it's probably not worth it. But if you can free up time most every night, it's the ultimate in channel surfing

. I've never used my TIVO for a baseball game. If I can't see it live, I would rather go on the net and find out how my team and/or players did, not watch a game that is finished already. But that's me. Also, the new DirecTV w/ TIVO boxes DO allow you to record 2 different shows at the same time. The box has 2 tuners in it, you just have to have two inputs from your dish.

Not with DISHNetwork. They black out the games. You just get all the other programming on MSG. They dont even have YES yet..

I've had DirectTv so long, i actually PAID for my dish.
Now they give them away fro $100 or less :~(

I get the football package every year, but I never bother with baseball. Why spend the money? I already get:

1> every Yanks game YES(out of NY will lose the 20? local broadcasts)
2> every Mets game (you would get your local team)
3> every Braves game TBS
4> a bunch of Cubs games WGN
5> some White Sox games WGN
6> the Espn games multiple days a week
and
7> the Espn backup games in case of rain. on extra Espn channels

plus MLB usually does a freeview the first week of the season, so you can get a glimpse at some rookies.
